Several weeks ago I gave my best bud Barb one of my dyed scarves for her birthday. It was one using Color Magnet, not the ice dyed ones I gave away here.
She liked it so much that she ordered several for gifts. So for the past week, after receiving some new dyes from Dharma Trading, I have been dyeing scarves. I dyed more than she wanted, giving her a good selection to choose from.
I know which one is my favorite. Which one would you choose?

Did you order your scarf blanks from Dharma too? Are they silk? They are all so pretty! I’ve been wanting to make some scarves for gifts too but need to buy fabric or order blanks SOON! I really like the grey with the words and block print as well as the blue with the circles.

Lisa, It’s bamboo/cotton knit fabric cut into scarf length. I bought the fabric on Ebay.
Oooh I bet that fabric is super soft! They are all lovely. I like the one with the script overlapping the round shape. It looks postage stampish. 🙂
I think they all are beautiful. But if course the bright pink would be my favorite. Lovely work.

My choice would be the purple one; I love all shades of purple

That’s a difficult choice! I feel like the earth tones would fit my wardrobe better but the pinks and purples reach out to me. 🙂 Love them all!!

Lovely, Lynda! I have yet to try dyeing bamboo, but I know someone who does a lot of bamboo clothing. Looks very soft and silky, and your designs are very pretty!

Diane, I am using thermofax screens which make the images come out real clean. If you look at the top of my blog the blue fabric was made with a stamp giving a different look. Both are neat, just different.
